DIRECTIONS
TO FOXHILL KENNELS We are
located 5 miles off of the PA Turnpike at the New Stanton exit. NEWS - "REED" (Son of Brit and Bailey)
A Letter from Reed's Handler - 05/22/07 Reed is doing well. We just got back from my field season in Wisconsin last week. We were collecting ducks again this spring as part of my research project, and Reed was there to help out with cripples. We collected probably 70 birds this spring, and Reed had a hand in probably 24 or so of those. He has picked up on trailing wounded ducks well, and I think the spring really helped with that, lots of practice. All told, I think he ended up with about 225 birds (ducks and geese) counting the fall and winter duck season and spring collection period this year. I'm sure there are many dogs that won't see that number their entire life. He
got to hunt Pennsylvania, Illinois, Saskatchewan, Arkansas, and
Mississippi this year. I included a few pics from the ducks season of
him in some of those places. I don't have any very recent pics,
but I'll snap some during training the next few days and send them your
way. I am indeed planning to continue competing Reed. We were very busy this spring, so I didn't have enough time to prepare him for the spring hunt test season, but we'll be working all summer to get him ready for his senior hunter tests by the fall season. I may be running a test or two in Pennsylvania at some point, and If so I'll let you know. - Rich Our own pup (below), Brittney, from the same litter, is back from Ohio after receiving extensive upland bird training. She is now a excellent finished hunter. More updates on her later. . IN MEMORIAM : We lost our beloved "Port" in November 2004 to twisted gut syndrome. He was the our top dog. We still think of him often. Thankfully we have his legacy (Ice) to live on after his passing. We will continue to produce pups with both his and Magic's good looks and personality in the future. Prices for vary for pups from Foxhill litters as of 2010: Companion and show lines - Blacks, Yellows and Chocolates range between $ 400. to $800. Special hunting lines are negotiable. These prices do not include shipping and PA State Tax (if applicable). We accept MasterCard and Visa, Checks, Money Orders and Cash. A 100.00 deposit is required to hold a pup. Credit Card is the most efficient way in doing this. At time of deposit a "Puppy Pack" is given/sent to you containing your Sales Agreement with Witten Guarantee, Portfolios on both of the Parents and a "Puppy Training DVD". Deposit is non-refundable.Stud dogs from Wales We started our imports with Brit and in late November 1998, we brought in two more pups from Wales. Diane's brother was in England and selected two pups who are Brit's 3/4 sister and brother (Honey and Idris). Diane has kept Idris (pronounced ee-dres) and her niece has Honey. They're wonderful pups: calm, well-mannered, and obedient. It took a week or so to communicate with them, because they only understood Welsh. But now they're bilingual.
